“15 years in, we still feel like a young company, and will continue to innovate and advance our technology to ensure that developers are limited only by their imaginations, and no longer bound by technological limitations,” Says David Coghlan, President and Managing Director of Havok. “Back in the nineties, before robust Physics technology became a requirement of modern gaming, game worlds were little more than glorified mazes, with static environments and limited interactivity. Since that time we’ve seen huge innovation in environmental and character interaction, and future titles will push physical simulation yet further. Havok will be there every step of the way.”
Havok’s full suite of technology includes Havok Physics, Cloth, AI, Animation Studio, Script and Destruction. For 15 years, Havok has powered more than 650 titles across 20 hardware platforms with a total of more than 100 software publishers.
