Havok Appoints David Coghlan as Managing Director

San Francisco, CA (April 27, 2010) – Havok, the Emmy Award winning Irish technology company, has appointed David Coghlan as Managing Director, with effect from June. David Coghlan, who has worked for Havok for the past six years, is an executive member of Havok’s Board of Directors and currently oversees Havok’s commercial operations globally.

David Coghlan joined Havok in 2004 and has held a number of senior operational roles in the company, including Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations, Vice President of Development and Chief Financial Officer. He has served alongside the outbound Managing Director, David O’Meara, as one of the two executive Directors of the Board since 2007.

Prior to joining Havok, David Coghlan was Director of Corporate Strategy for Elan Corporation, a NYSE-listed biotechnology company. David qualified as an accountant in the audit and business advisory group of international firm, KPMG and he holds a first class honors degree in Finance from Trinity College, Dublin.
