During CEDEC 2025 we held a Havok booth on the show floor to talk to game developers and presented two sessions during the conference.

The Computer Entertainment Developers Conference or CEDEC is one of the core events for game developers in Japan and we’re happy to take part and share our expertise and knowledge. CEDEC is based in Tokyo, with a sister event CEDEC + KYUSHU held in Fukuoka, which we also regularly attend.

Keep an eye out for us at these events in future, or reach out about setting up a meeting. We’re always ready to talk about how Havok Physics, Navigation, and Cloth can empower game developers through performant, reliable, and robust functionality, and how all three can be added into your custom engine or brought to Unreal Engine through our Havok for Unreal supported integrations.

Presentation on Havok Cloth with Creek & River at CEDEC 2025

Our first session was presented with Creek & River and explores Havok Cloth and Havok Cloth for Unreal. In this session we walk through the entire process, of taking an asset and applying Havok Cloth simulation to it, including preparation in Maya, how to use Havok Cloth’s setup tool and data export/import for Unreal.

You can also find detailed tutorials on setting up Havok Cloth created by Creek & River on their website.

Update on Havoks' Latest Innovations

Our second presentation covers the new features brought to Havok Physics for Unreal and Havok Navigation for Unreal. These innovations and updates bring improved performance and reduced manual authoring during development.

You can find out more about the recent releases through our recent post Havok 2025.1 Release Highlights and if any features pique your interest, reach out to us to set up a call through our contact page.
