The Havok Content Tools, included within the Havok download are a set of plug-ins, exporters, documentation and general bindings for use with Autodesk’s Maya and 3ds Max products, and with Avid’s XSI product from Softimage. These tools form an integrated working environment that helps artists create game-ready objects, levels, and characters that animate and react physically to their game world around them. You can set up and export your game assets in a machine-ready binary format that goes right to the game – or preview your game-ready content right inside your favorite 3D art tool. You can distribute your Havok-ready content freely or for a fee, as you prefer. There’s no fee because the normal license fee has been covered by Intel under a commercial agreement with Havok and no further permission is needed from Havok to show the world that your art is ready for the game.
